Naomi Scott portraying the role of Princess Jasmine in Disney's musical live-action fantasy film Aladdin.  Jasmine is quite intuitive and intelligent, has described herself as a fast learner. The meaning that They are sung within the context of Jasmine being arrested, her kingdom being overtaken by a dictator and her quest to establish herself as a respected leader. Wat she is telling her oppressors is that despite this situation, that she will not be speechless he will not be afraid to speak out despite the position she finds herself in. Princess Jasmine do the right thing and save Agrabah  a Middle Eastern kingdom ruled by her father, the Sultan. As the future Sultana, Jasmine has a strong sense of obligation to her kingdom.
